Cal Poly Mott Gym

Built in 1960 and named after Robert Mott and teacher and department head at call poly as well as basketball coach for a few years. A capacity of 3,032 doesnt make this an easy place to play. With a low arched ceiling, steel walls, and no wasted room and students right next to the court this place can get loud. The only problem is getting loud. Not a traditional basketball school getting students to the game and getting them standing and cheering doesn't always happen like it used too. Why students don't want to get loud and be crazy college students is beyond me, maybe its a California thing?
