Join us in the Oak Glen Pavilion when Peggy Coon will discuss how butterflies “stay alive” in each state of development: egg, caterpillar, chrysalis and adult butterfly. She will show the beautiful and unique colors on the inside and outside of the butterfly wings and explain how these colors, patterns and markings are used for protective coloration, warning, mimicry, and will display her own photos taken in Costa Rica, Belize, the Caribbean, Mexico and the United States.
