Family Mind Walk

This year, we are trying a new venue: Family Mind Walks. We will hold three presentations aimed at both adults and children. They will be held at the Museum of Natural History. As in previous years, Central Coast State Parks Association (Ccspa) members may attend any of the Mind Walks free of charge. Nonmembers must pay the standard Museum entry fee ($3; no charge for children under 17 years). Turtles and Tortoises from Around the World--JUDY & Bob Thomas. Learn about our planet s oldest inhabitants… Show more and their threatened existence. Will they go the way of the dinosaur? Turtles welcome, but must be in a box or container. Bob and Judy Thomas have a ranch in Arroyo Grande where they keep over 250 turtles and tortoises representing over 50 species. They also operate Turtle & Tortoise Rescue of Arroyo Grande Inc., which is a nonprofit educational organization dedicated to the protection of turtles and tortoises.
